We booked the "bullseye and bevvies" corporate package for a work event. This was supposed to include 2 hours of games and we had darts, pool and shuffleboard booked. When we arrived we were told that we wouldn't be getting the shuffleboard we had booked, and would only get pool and darts running concurrently for 1 hour (so half the amount of time that we had paid for). We did manage to negotiate 1 hour each on darts and pool with staff to keep everyone occupied for the 2 hours, but didn't get any shuffleboard. We were only given 2 lanes of darts and 2 pool tables between nearly 30 people, so it wasn't really the "fierce competition and guaranteed fun" that we were promised, and was unworkable for a group of this size. A few people didn't get their welcome drinks as it was a bit of a battle to find the staff member that dealt with that (didn't really get the "dedicated host" that the package promised). The drinks token system worked well though. Food was good and was plentiful. Overall though, we felt as though it was very poor value for money at almost £70 a head. It felt like they had overbooked the activities, or would rather make money twice by opening games up to walk ins. We would be unlikely to return after our experience, which was pretty mediocre. Given most were standing chatting rather than playing games, we would have been as well going to an ordinary bar, and would have saved a lot of the £1800 we spent having an underwhelming time in Boom Battle Bar. Would not recommend.
Great customer service from Sinead! She made us feel really welcome and the Axe throwing was good! The only thing that let this place down was the food. We ordered a couple of snacks. After 25/30 minutes we went to enquire and the chef hadn't seen the order come through. So we were asked to wait another 10 minutes. After another 15 minutes the food finally came out. But the chicken was burnt and tasted awful. We also had to go back again and ask for cutlery. We had booked another game, but due to waiting so long for food we didn't have time to play, so asked for a refund and told we couldn't have one as it was policy, the money could go towards a bar tab instead. But we had to leave so that would have been pointless. Would recommend for the games, but not the food.
Bookings are generally non-refundable, especially for game and table combinations. For table-only bookings, a refund may be issued unless it's a special event. Rescheduling is possible at the venue manager's discretion, requiring at least 24 hours' notice before your original booking time, with the new date set within 30 days. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, or if an alternative date cannot be accommodated, will not be eligible for a refund. In severe cases, a voucher with a 30-day expiry might be offered. Contact the venue by phone or email to manage your booking.

We had a really cool afternoon here with loads to do, lots of quirky games. We were served by Andrew who was more than helpful and was able to advise us of the best things to do and very good at looking after us to ensure we had the best experience

Could not recommend Boom Battle Bar more for a fun night in Glasgow! We had the pleasure of being served by Bethany, who was just amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly, super friendly. We would recommend Nolf and Shuffle! Great date night for couples, or fun night out for friends/family!
